Kindergarten Day 1-pics & projects

whew! it's been a while since i posted! so much has happened in the last few weeks- let's see if i can catch everyone up.
Aug 12-16th we were in Michigan for Grama's 90th birthday celebration! family friend and pastor Fr. Jim held a lovely mass for Grams on Saturday afternoon, followed by an amazing party & private feast at a local Italian restaurant. it was great to see everyone! Sadly, we could only stay a few short days so we could get back home and get prepared for school to start! thankfully, the Eastern time zone really helped us get a jump start on getting to sleep by 9!
Aug 23rd was a big day- it was the first day of school! we can't believe Mimi's starting Kindergarten this year!

OK- so not long ago MFT released another adorable set called Emma with her backpack
One of MFT's amazing designers, Christina Fischer, made these ADORABLE projects for back to school!
i had some scraps of some of the same papers so i cased Christina's fun back-back tag & card and made a set for my Mimi:

i think they turned out so sweet and Mimi loved them!
the uniform even matches one one of my daughter's- a blue plaid skort and a yellow polo! ca-ute right?!
